Nowadays, choosing a reliable web host for your site is really important. There are literally gazillion web hosts for you to choose from so its one heck of a tough choice right?

I go through that tedious process of selecting as I have a website of my own to maintain. My criteria?

Well.

First, the space and bandwith. The site should provide big space and bandwith to satisfy my needs. As much as possible, I am one person who doesn’t want to deal with space and bandwith issues. I want my ‘website activities’ to flow spontaneously without having to worry that I might have exceeded space/bandwith limits for a month.

Second, the affordability of the web hosting packages. Before I decide on purchasing a particular hosting plan I go through the process of comparing packages of one web hosting company to the other. Of course this is necessary because you would be able to gauge if the amount you would pay is worth everything.

I came across a web hosting rating. Web hosting rating’s job is to rate the various websites out there that provides hosting services. From the plan packages to the prizes to the testimonials of customers. Name it! They’ve ranked it.

If you’re to ask me, I must say this is a very innovative idea because web hosting searchees would have an easy way selecting. They also provide web hosting tutorials for the visitors of their websites. Oh, and before I forget do check their web hosting awards section.

I managed to fix Arjyll Nadynne’s site. :tongue: I just had to re-do the whole thing. IDK where the error occurred because I could not access it awhile ago. But its okey. ³

Speaking of hostees.. Visit Anni. Chery. Euanne. The others are also plugged at my sidebar but they aren’t done fixing their sites. Ngayon ko talaga na-fi-feel ever ang pag-ho-host. As in nung hindi ko makita yung site ni Arjyll, I was like.. “What the hell is wrong?? The FTP is working. Subdomain creation was fine.. ” :hehe: I love it.

Moving on.

Tomorrow, I would really let my graduation pictures be recopied. I failed to do that. I owe a lot of friends pictures. Yayness. Its about time that I hit the bed now. Its already 11:45. Tomorrow everyone.

Try visiting Arjyll Nadynne’s site. Could you see it? Everytime I try accessing it, its being redirected to an OPENDNS page. I don’t know what the problem is. Her site is the only one that I could not access. What could be the problem? :rolleyes:

The nerdy mode did pay off. I’m quite confident that I will pass that exam. I do have an upcoming exam scheduled perhaps on Saturday or Monday. I have to do good on that. My standing in that subject is low. Its quite explainable. Haha. I loathe that subject. :glare:

I wish ma-transfer na ang funds mula sa Paypal. :angry: I so wanna do something with the money I earned. Waiting sucks big time. :angry:

Oh well. I read Ate Sasha’s latest entry about Paypal. Like, 72 hours more?? :glare: I even emailed them asking how long would it take for the technical issues to be solved. Err. Waiting really sucks big time. But I couldn’t do anything about it.

I did my first online shopping by the way. :tongue: I hope the package wouldn’t be lost or something. I’m thinking of shopping again but I guess I just have to wait further whether the package would reach me or not.

I have to let my graduation picture¹ be re-copied. A lot of friends are asking copies. And I have nothing to give them. I will do that tomorrow perhaps. I have an exam this coming Tuesday. And I am lazy to review. Hahahaha.

I’ve finally fixed everything here in Charmed-Gloss. I transferred the hosting to PHUC. The back-ups were messed up though and I was really pissed. :angry: But luckily, my back-ups at MYSTIQUE worked when I imported a couple of them right here. I really conclude that backing-up via FTP is the best way. :hehe: So all is well and good and now, I’m terribly exhausted.
